Swap crowded beaches, traffic and screen time for open space, peaceful farm days and four nights of intentional family time in Gateway to the Karoo.

This easy self-drive package follows mainly the N1 and is suitable for any ordinary vehicle. Families stay for two nights at Raapfontein Guest Farm near Hanover and two nights at Joalani Guestfarm near Three Sisters. With approximately 153 km between the destinations, there is more time to unwind and less time on the road.

Choose your family package

• Family camping package: R2,800 for four guests
  Two nights’ camping at Raapfontein and two nights’ camping at Joalani.
• Small-family accommodation package: R5,950 per family
  Two nights in Raapfontein’s Saffier unit, suitable for a family with small children, and two nights in Joalani’s four-guest chalet.
• Family self-catering package: R9,100 for four guests
  Two nights in Raapfontein’s self-catering unit and two nights in Joalani’s four-guest chalet.

Your two farm stays

Raapfontein Guest Farm: The first four gallery photos show Raapfontein’s facilities, family accommodation and campsite near Hanover.

Joalani Guestfarm: The following five gallery photos show Joalani’s garden and swimming pool, chalet bedroom, guest kitchen, dining area and family lounge near Three Sisters.

All dates and units are subject to a live availability check. Raapfontein is unavailable from 22–28 December 2026. No place is confirmed until availability has been checked and payment received.

Optional additions

• Extra night on Karoo Queen: R2,200 per person, including all meals and subject to availability.
• BLine family braai pack: lamb chops, chicken wings, maize meal, pecan tartlets and complementary braai items. Final contents and price are confirmed with the booking.
